I am using Windows 10 and my on-board sound card does have Line-In. That will be very noisy as youve discovered. Last edited: Mar 13, PremangshuMar 13, Onboard soundcards only have mic inputs. Just trying to setup Guitar Rig 5 in standalone mode and getting no inputs available when I am connected using Line In. Messages: Last edited: Mar 12, J KMar 12, Hi, I am not trying to record. For him the inputs show up as Stereo Mix for left and right respectively. I am unable to use it in this mode, but a friend of mine has been using in this mode in his system. I am running on Windows But in this mode, there is a lot of hiss and hum and selecting the presets make no effect when I play the guitar. PremangshuMar 12, Hi, I just installed the free version of rGuitar Rig 5 Player from the website and activated it. I am plugging the input to my computer's Line-In which is coming from my guitar processor's output. I need some help to get this thing sorted. But when I go under Routing tab, the Inputs sub-tab has 4 options for which everything shows '-not connected-', if I click on it, no option shows up to select. Realtek High Definition Audio and the sample rate is defaulted to which can't be changed. If you do get it, come back, and we can at least get you setup with some updates for it.Forums Quick Links. Hopefully, you find an interface with LE5 included. Lesson learned: Trying to go cheap sometimes ends-up costing more.

So I guess I 'll have to bite the bullet and by a decent USB interface, such as a Tascam to make sense and it comes with a legit version of Cubase LE4, which eliminates the possibility that the cracked version is faulty. So if it does not work properly with the Guitar Rig 2, chances are it will not work with Cubase 5. I reinstalled the whole thing from scratch and couldn't get it to work properly. I dicovered that my Guitar Link was sometimes working, sometime not with the Guitar Rig 2 software that came with it.

Crappy USB interface I spent several more hours tryning all kinds of drivers with the Guitar Link USB interface and am now convinced this is a piece of crap, but, hey, I just paid 35 bucks for the damn thing trying to get geared for cheap. I have not heard of any worthy interface recently, that needed such a program. Just saying It is a workaround for crappy gear, that is more based upon 10 year old technology. Cubase will hate you, and you will hate yourself for purchasing such crap, and having to use ASIO4All. Yep, you need to be clear as to what interface you are using. Sometime asking questions helps solving the problem.

Can you be more specific on what Behringer USB interface do you have? Does the interface worked with another driver? What driver did you use on Mixcraft 6 and Guitar Rig?

If anyone has some advice to give me Advices: 1. The computer microphone is working when selected, therefore this is only a problem with the USB audio signal not being recognized by Cubase.
#GUITAR RIG 5 OUTPUT NOT CONNECTED 64 BITS#
I run on Windows 7 with 64 bits and I only try to get the input working directly from the USB interface to Cubase, straight forward but not working. However, I cannot get any signal from this device on Cubase. Remember Me? Results 1 to 10 of New guy on the block So I therefore eliminated problem with the USB interface device. I use the ASIO driver and have not done any tweaking. I personally use GR4 now and it sounds bitchen. The factory presets within GR should sound rocking. There's always Amplitube, which i thinks is better than guitar rig As Ivan suggested I would back out of the preamp gain boost. Usually you have to really tweak these plugins, I remember it took me a while to get decent sounds from guitar rig, but I had to change a lot of things within it, make sure you have a noise gate, and not too much distortion. Instructor Posts: Perhaps increasing input to 20dB created clipping? Try to monitor the input in your DAW software, and see if the metter is going above 0dB.

The tones that I am getting from this software just are not as good as the ones I hear on YouTube or the ones I hear in the lessons on this site.Īlso, the recorded sound from Guitar Rig sounds worse than what comes through the speakers monitors. I am plugging my guitar into an M-Audio Mobile Pre device. Hi guys, When using Guitar Rig 5, the tones don't sound all that great.
